Will my team actually use this?

Parly is built for the back of house. The count flow runs on a phone while someone walks the storage room, one number per item. Tasks assign themselves around supplier cutoffs and your count days, so nobody has to remember the schedule. Access is role-based: team members see counts, tasks, and the schedule, never your revenue, margins, or wages, and you decide what managers see. If your staff can use Instagram, they can run a count. At our own cafe, the manager has run every count for the last three months, usually from his phone.

Do I have to replace my POS?

No. Parly sits on top of the POS you already run. It connects in strict read-only mode, pulls sales, catalog, and labor, and never creates, updates, or deletes anything. You keep ringing up orders exactly the way you do today. Parly is built for Square cafes today, so if you run Square you are set; other systems are on the roadmap.

Can I go back to my spreadsheet?

Yes, anytime. Keep your Google Sheet running alongside Parly until you trust it. Your data exports in one click, so nothing is locked in. You can cancel or downgrade from billing whenever you want. No contracts, no cancellation fees. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.

Is this overkill for a small shop?

Parly was built inside a single independent cafe, not for a chain. It is tuned for one owner watching one stockroom, one set of suppliers, and one morning rush. You can start with just inventory counts and add forecasting and ordering when you are ready. The whole point is to give a small shop the visibility a big operation pays a manager for.

Parly shows what you are burning through, predicts what you will need, and suggests supplier orders timed to your cutoffs. You review, adjust, and confirm. A single missed order can cost $150 or more in emergency runs and markup; a single over-order can tie up $200 or more in cash on a shelf. In our own cafe, the first month of ordering from real usage instead of gut feel cut over-ordering visibly.
